There are plenty of free and paid keyword research tolls and software. I don’t know why to use those tools and software
when we have free keyword research tool which is the best keyword research tool.
I am talking about “Google AdWords Keyword Tool”. As far I think it is the best I only use Google Keyword tool for my all keyword research. I have tried many other keyword tools but I don’t find them as better ad Google AdWords Keyword tool.
What we want from a keyword research? Related search queries this is what we search for. As all knows that Google is number 1 search engine and most of the people use Google and we need keyword research from Google.
All other keyword research tools also bring data from Google then why not use Google Keyword directly. When we research on Google Keyword tool it shows results with Advertiser Competition, Local Search Volume and Global Monthly Search Volume. It makes our research complete. Results show all related search for given keywords along with “Additional keywords to be considered”.

You get about 200 keywords as result and I think it is more then enough. After getting results you know what people are searching, related keywords and local search volume too. We these information you can target you website for your niche. Advertiser Competition shows how much competition is there for paid advertisement. If you are doing keyword research for your site content and earning from AdSense then Advertiser Competition will help you to choose right keyword.
Along with Google AdWords Keyword Tool you can use “Google Search-based Keyword Tool”. This will show you approx how much advertisers are willing to pay for a keyword on Pay Per Click basis. This will help you more to earn from Google AdSense or any other PPC program.

If you know much better free keyword research tool then please share.

Hi Ravi
Good post – I always use Google’s keyword tool too. I’ve just finished developing my own keyword tool using the results from their tool. You can find it here: http://www.keywordeye.co.uk

I’d like to know what you think.
